'But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. I think these verses really show us how blessed we are as believers. God sent His Son because He is kind and loving... and Christ embodied those qualities like no one before Him. We know these things through His Word and we learn that He died to save us. Because He is also merciful. And when we realize these things and call upon Him as our Lord and Savior, His Holy Spirit is given to us as a gift. Indeed, He is generous. Gracious. And eternity is ours to spend with Him. Life in the fullest.
